Brad Klinge is the founder of Varsity Page, a revolutionary digital platform for high school athletic programs. Brad's passion for school sports and his commitment to helping student-athletes thrive stems from his personal experience as a standout football player at Samuel Clemens High School in the early '90s. After being recruited by some of the biggest schools in the country, Brad knows firsthand the importance of keeping athletes connected with their community, coaches, recruiters, and families.

For the past decade, Brad was deeply involved with his alma mater's booster club, managing the school's athletic program book. It was during this time that he realized the inefficiencies of continuing to print thousands of paper programs every year. Observing the growing digital landscape, Brad saw an opportunity to streamline the process and build a more sustainable, interactive, and cost-effective solution for schools.

Drawing on his experience in athletics and his drive to support his community, Brad founded Varsity Page with a clear mission: to create a digital program that would provide easy access to team rosters, event schedules, sponsorships, and player information while fostering a closer connection between athletes, fans, sponsors, and recruiters.

Jessica Klinge is the co-owner and Chief Operations Officer of Varsity Page — and Brad's wife of 32 years. Growing up immersed in high school athletics, cheer, and dance, Jessica's passion for school spirit and student recognition runs deep. She and Brad have known each other since childhood and began dating in middle school, building a life rooted in family, community, and supporting youth activities.

That passion carried through to their own children: all three of their daughters cheered or danced for Samuel Clemens High School — one earning a Texas UIL State Cheer Championship in 2020 — and their son is currently an all-district, state-qualifying swimmer for Clemens. Jessica's involvement in school athletics is personal, proven, and unwavering.

Over the years, she has held numerous leadership roles supporting student programs and booster organizations, including 6 years as President of the Samuel Clemens Cheerleading Booster Club, 2 years as Parliamentarian and Secretary, 3 years as Vice President of the Dance Team Booster Club, 2 years as President of Project Graduation, 1 year as Treasurer of the Samuel Clemens Theater Club, and currently Administrator of Operations and Executive Board Secretary for the Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD Education Foundation and President of the Texas A&M Aggie Mom's Club – Randolph Area Chapter.

Jessica understands the importance of community involvement, fundraising, and meaningful recognition for students and athletes. She ensures that respect, support, and opportunities reach every program — not just the high-profile ones.

At Varsity Page, Jessica oversees all daily operations and administrative functions. She works directly with schools, coaches, and booster clubs to help them strengthen their programs, improve engagement, and unlock new fundraising potential. Her experience, leadership, and heart for student activities make her an essential part of Varsity Page's mission.

Shah Martinez is the Co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer, and Product Manager behind Varsity Page 2.0 — the technical and product visionary who transformed the platform from a digital game-day program into an AI-powered command center for high school sports, clubs, and organizations.

With 15 years in the technology industry — including seven years as a Senior Software Developer and Senior Technical Product Manager at Yahoo!, where he invented screen-reader technology for Yahoo Mail iOS that empowered visually impaired users — Shah brings a rare combination of engineering depth and product instinct to everything he builds. He also contributed to Ava, an app that helps hearing-impaired users track multi-person conversations through real-time transcription — work that cemented his belief that technology should make a tangible difference in people's lives.

Shah and Brad's partnership stretches back 15 years, to when Shah served as Audio Supervisor on Brad and Barry's Discovery Channel television show, Ghost Lab. Years later, Brad and Barry reached out with a vision for Varsity Page. Shah flew to Texas and led a four-day product bootcamp where he reimagined the entire platform — expanding it from a simple digital program into a comprehensive school platform that serves as a one-stop command center for every student team, club, and organization.

Today, Shah leads all technical architecture and product development through his AI software company, Luminait. He designed and built every layer of Varsity Page 2.0 — from the real-time data sync pipeline and AI-powered VP Chat to the dynamic school theming engine, interactive fan dashboard, and tiered authentication system. His vision turned Varsity Page into the kind of platform that gives students the resources, community, and exposure they need to feel confident enough to achieve anything they set their minds to.

As a dedicated sports enthusiast and former high school football player at Samuel Clemens High School, Barry Klinge brings both passion and experience to his role as Vice President of Sales at Varsity Page. With more than 15 years in the education field, he has developed a deep understanding of how athletic programs build community, strengthen school spirit, and create lasting connections for students and their families.

Barry currently serves as an adapted PE teacher in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District and is also the district Director of Special Olympics. In these roles, he works daily with students of all abilities, creating opportunities for participation, confidence-building, and meaningful connection. Through inclusive physical education and Special Olympics programming, he helps ensure every child feels seen, valued, and celebrated for their unique strengths. His hands-on experience fostering teamwork, encouraging perseverance, and recognizing individual achievements gives him a deep understanding of what inclusion truly means — and how powerful it is to make every kid feel special, capable, and part of something bigger.

Having raised both a son and daughter who were deeply involved in sports and high school athletic programs, Barry also knows firsthand the vital role athletics play in shaping young lives. His personal experience with the impact of sports on student development allows him to relate to families and communities, ensuring their needs are met with care, understanding, and attention.

Halle Klinge leads social media strategy and video production at Varsity Page, where she combines her marketing degree and creative design background to amplify the brand's voice across every platform. As the founder of Socials Cove, a successful social media management business, Halle brings proven expertise in content strategy, audience growth, and video storytelling to the Varsity Page team.

An alumna of Samuel Clemens High School and a former cheerleader, Halle understands the importance of school pride, community engagement, and the role athletics play in shaping students' lives. When her dad, Brad Klinge, came to her with the idea to create Varsity Page, she knew it was a perfect fit. Her creative eye helped shape the look and feel of the platform, ensuring that it would not only be a tool for schools, but also an enjoyable, interactive experience for everyone involved.

A former high school cheerleader herself, Halle has always been passionate about supporting her school's athletic programs. That personal connection fuels her commitment to Varsity Page, as she helps shape how fans, families, recruiters, and sponsors discover and engage with student-athletes and their teams across social media and video.

As a former cheerleader at Samuel Clemens High School, cheer coach, and lifelong sports advocate, Shelly Petruska brings passion and purpose to her role as Director of Sales at Varsity Page.

Having experienced firsthand the positive impact of athletic programs — as an athlete, coach, and parent of a varsity athlete — Shelly understands how sports build life skills, foster community connection, and create lasting support systems for students and families.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, and project management, Shelly is committed to meaningful connections and delivering experiences that elevate schools, communities, and the next generation of athletes.
